Building a Technical Assistance Team

This section of the website provides an overview of the process of building a professional technical assistance team to address challenging behavior.  These materials are meant to describe the procedures and practices for teams that have already received extensive training in the application of positive behavior support strategies. Once a team has instituted the necessary procedures for the delivery and monitoring of technical assistance, this website may serve as an ongoing resource to the members of the technical assistance team.

Topics covered in Building a Technical Assistance Team:

1. Training Process to Form a Technical Assistance Team

2. Composition of a Technical Assistance Team

3. Three Tiered Training Model

4. Goals of a Technical Assistance Team

5. Assumptions for the Training Process
